Programme overview

Everyone joins our FLDP, but there are two ways to start climbing. Choose the Retail and Business Banking Leadership route and you’ll gain a broad overview of the business, deep customer insight and a clear sense of where your strengths and your prospects lie. Or you could opt for one of eight Functional Leadership programmes that will prepare you for a top-level career in Human Resources, Marketing & Products, Marketing Analytics, Credit Risk Analytics, Credit Risk Delivery & Information Management, Technology – Product and Process Development, Finance or Tax.

All our programmes are designed to build on your natural ambition and bring out all of your leadership potential over the course of two action-packed years. During that time you’ll rotate through structured placements to see the business from various perspectives as you develop a deeper understanding of how we operate. At least one placement will be client-centric; international travel is something you should certainly be prepared for; and all the while you’ll be in training for relevant professional qualifications.
